This annual community tradition began in November of 1993. The original creators were Eva Hansen, and co-coordinator of the Happening Arts & Crafts Fair, Roberta Lindsay. The students of Thomas Haney Secondary have always been largely involved in the organizing and running of the show.
The groups involved have changed over the years but the main focus has always remained the same and that is to benefit both students and the charities in our community.
We reflect upon years past, and continue on the same path – there is much to be celebrated. We are very proud of the leadership and community spirit that our students show as they assist vendors and customers alike.
This show could not be as successful as it is without the hard work of all involved and this includes the crafters themselves, a dedicated and creative group of individuals who bring with them years of experience, expertise and a love of their craft.
Each year brings a new and exciting line up of beautiful workmanship – we are very proud to offer an annual showcase of handmade craftsmanship!
